"This experience has reengaged the effort for weight loss and remaking of myself.  I really have a new outlook on myself and putting on clothes that fit and accessorizing.  What used to be an effort for me is actually fun now, (i.e. putting on jewelry, styling of the hair and then the makeup).  As a large person you don't want to call attention to yourself, but to hide behind the blacks and browns, blend in as much as possible.  I have had nothing but compliments and stares lately which has done wonders for the ego!  To top off this experience, I have met new, co-bariatric friends with whom I can continue to share the experience going forward in the process."   ~ Carolyn

Christina used Colorescience mineral makeup on Joyce, a product that enhances your skin by using anti-oxidants and healing botanicals.   She smoothed the skin’s texture by applying primer.  Next, she applied concealer powder to help cover any red undertones and finally powder foundation in a very natural color. Christina accentuated Joyce’s pretty eyes by using a dark mineral shadow as liner and applying Cry Me a River, tube mascara which literally creates a tube around the lash, strengthening it. Christina applied mineral powder blush to Joyce’s cheeks and finished with Colorescience Lip Polish in a festive holiday red.
